We’re thrilled to announce this year’s Love4Lucas 6th Annual Virtual Fundraising Event—a Turkey Trot!
Gather your family, friends, neighbors and yes, even your furry friends to be part of this meaningful annual event. This year's event features a special edition: a 1-mile dog walk - because every step counts, even the furry ones. Whether you skip, run, walk, bike, or dance your way through 1M or 5K, you'll be supporting the Love4Lucas Foundation with every stride. Join us ANYTIME and ANYWHERE from Thursday, November 27 to Sunday, November 30, 2025.
Thanks to the unwavering generosity of our supporters and volunteers, Love4Lucas is able to donate 100% of proceeds to research organizations dedicated to finding a cure for DIPG. Over the past five years, we've contributed $250,000 to advance scientific research and improve outcomes for children battling brain tumors. Your generosity makes a difference! The Love4Lucas Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization created in honor of Lucas Harashima. On September 17, 2016, at the age of 5, Lucas was diagnosed with DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma). DIPG is an aggressive brain tumor that affects children between the ages of 4 and 11 and interferes with all bodily functions. Lucas died on March 21, 2018, just a few months shy of his 7th birthday.
