Lyme Half Marathon

Experience the breathtaking beauty of Cheshire's Lyme Hall with our stunning half marathon trail race, set to take place on July 4th, 2027. This Gold Award-winning event offers runners an unforgettable journey through remarkable terrain and scenic views.
The course begins in the picturesque grounds of Lyme National Trust, where participants will follow the Gritstone Trail southward across varied landscapes that offer expansive vistas stretching for miles around. The route then leads up to Kerridge Ridge, passing by the iconic White Nancy landmark before descending into Bollington along a more level section alongside the Macclesfield Canal.
The event features two well-stocked aid stations and is fully marked throughout its entirety. Upon crossing the finish line at Lyme Hall's main grounds, runners will receive an exclusive bespoke medal as recognition of their achievement.
Registration for this half marathon opens on race day from 7:00 AM to 7:45 AM in the BigFeat Registration Tent, where participants can collect their bibs and any necessary information. A brief safety briefing at 7:55 AM ensures all runners are prepared before the start time of 8:00 AM.
Parking is included with your entry fee, allowing access to both parking facilities within the grounds and entrance into Lyme National Trust's park and gardens for the day. Bag drop services will also be available near the starting area.
Runners should come equipped with appropriate clothing based on weather conditions, as well as hydration systems or handheld flasks. A GPX file of the route can be downloaded onto a wearable device to ensure navigational accuracy throughout the course.
