About the Event

The Maliebaanloop, organized by Utrecht Atletiek, invites participants of all ages to join this vibrant running festival. The event features various categories including youth races for children and adult performance races, as well as team events.
For the younger generation, there are two distance options in the youth race: a 1 km run designed for kids aged 4 to 9 years old, and a longer 2.5 km course suitable for those between 10 and 13 years of age. Each child will start based on their age as determined by October 18th, ensuring that all participants are in the correct category.
Adult runners can choose from two distances in the performance race: either a challenging 5 kilometer or an even more demanding 10 kilometer route. Both options offer opportunities for competitive racing and personal achievement.
This year's event also includes the Dutch Student Championship (NSK) on the Maliebaan, providing university students with a unique opportunity to compete alongside their peers in a dedicated race.
Team participants can register separately through an additional form specifically designed for group entries. This ensures that all team members are correctly entered and accounted for during the registration process.
Registration is open until October 8th, giving runners ample time to sign up and prepare for this exciting event. The Maliebaanloop promises a day filled with spirited competition, beautiful scenery along Utrecht's historic Maliebaan route, and an enthusiastic atmosphere that celebrates running in all its forms.
Participants can also register multiple individuals at once by using the 'Add Participant' button within 15 minutes of starting their registration process. This feature simplifies group sign-ups but does not apply to team entries which require a different form.
Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to enjoy running in one of Utrecht's most iconic locations.
