Manchester Triathlon Club July Aquathlon

Back for another year, Manchester Triathlon Club presents five thrilling Aquathlons scheduled throughout 2026. These popular Tuesday evening races take place at the picturesque Trafford Water Sports Centre and Sale Water Park, offering participants an ideal mid-week training session.
The venue boasts a challenging yet straightforward course: swimmers tackle two laps of an 800-meter pool swim followed by a 5-kilometer run along a scenic two-lap route. For younger athletes, Juniors race half the distance, making it perfect for those just starting out in multisport events. The races begin at 6:40 PM and 6:45 PM respectively for adults and juniors.
Registration opens promptly at 5:45 PM with a cutoff time of 6:20 PM to ensure all participants are ready on race day. Entry fees vary based on the number of events you plan to participate in, ranging from £25 per individual event for adults aged 15 years and older up to £100 if opting for the full series of five races. Juniors can enjoy discounted rates with a single entry costing just £12.50 or save even more by signing up for all five events at £50.
All participants are required to bring their British Triathlon race license upon registration; should you not have one, a Race Pass will be available for purchase on-site. Parking is conveniently located near the boathouse restaurant outside Sale Water Park Metrolink station for those arriving by public transport or car.
