Manchester Triathlon Club September Aquathlon

Dive into an evening of aquatic and running excitement with Manchester Triathlon Club's Tuesday Aquathlons, returning for another thrilling season in 2026. Hosted at the picturesque Trafford Water Sports Centre within Sale Water Park, these races offer a perfect mid-week challenge.
The venue boasts ideal conditions for racing, featuring an 800-meter swim course divided into two laps and a 5-kilometer run circuit also split over two loops. Junior participants cover half the distance in both disciplines, ensuring they get a taste of competition tailored to their abilities.
Races begin at 6:15 PM with the adult category, followed by juniors taking off just fifteen minutes later at 6:30 PM.
Entry fees are designed for flexibility and affordability:
- Adults (ages 15+): £25 per event or save on five consecutive races for a discounted rate of £100.
- TriStar 3/Youths: £12.50 per race, with the option to sign up for all five events at just £50.
Registration opens promptly from 5:30 PM until 6:00 PM, allowing ample time to collect your race number and any necessary safety pins. British Triathlon members must bring their valid license or be prepared to purchase a Race Pass on the day.
Convenient parking is available outside the boathouse restaurant near the venue entrance. Alternatively, Sale Water Park Metrolink station offers easy access for those traveling by public transport.
