Mane Event

The 2026 Mane Event Gravel Race is set for Saturday, September 19, 2026. Starting from The Koltiska Pumpkin Patch, the race will wind through picturesque foothills north and east of Sheridan, Wyoming.
Participants can choose between a 22-mile route priced at $70, a 32-mile journey costing $80, or embark on the more ambitious 54-mile ($90) and 78-mile ($100) courses. Early registration by August 30th guarantees an Event T-shirt; all registrants will receive a swag bag along with timing services.
Riders must check in at the designated location (details to be announced) on Friday, September 18th from 4 pm to 8 pm for packet pickup and final instructions. The race commences early: those tackling the 78-mile route start at 7:30 am, with subsequent distances beginning an hour later.
Rest stations equipped with water, snacks, and portable toilets will be available along each course; specific details on their locations can be found on the official website. For safety, vehicles are provided to assist with breakdowns or transport riders back to The Koltiska Pumpkin Patch if needed.
The race concludes by 3 pm, after which participants not having completed their route will receive a ride back to the finish line. A post-race meal awaits all who cross the finish line.
Safety and etiquette guidelines emphasize riding single file for public safety reasons. Riders must adhere strictly to traffic signs and rules of the road, with particular caution required when merging or turning. Always be aware that others may follow closely behind you; riding in oncoming lanes is forbidden due to legal restrictions. When passing another rider, provide ample notice and allow them sufficient time to safely yield.
Participants are reminded to wear an ANSI or Snell-approved helmet throughout the race. Detailed descriptions of each route will be provided, along with arrow signs at critical intersections for guidance.
