The Marbletown Cyclocross Festival, set on Sunday, October 18, 2026, promises an exhilarating day of racing and camaraderie. Races begin at dawn's early light, with registration opening promptly at 7:00am in the white Fire Hall Building. Ensure you have your USAC license ready for verification; bib numbers must be affixed to the left side for timing purposes. On Saturday, October 17th, from morning till mid-afternoon, explore and familiarize yourself with the course free of charge during pre-ride sessions. This is a fantastic opportunity to warm up on site before race day. Located at 6416 Silver Hill Rd., Newark, NY, this event is hosted by Marbletown Volunteer Fire Department, known for its support of Upstate BMX racing. Registration costs $45 for the first race and an additional $10 per subsequent race; junior racers pay just $10 each. Registration closes on Friday, October 16th at 4:00pm via BikeReg.com. Day-of-race registration is available but will be cash-only and subject to a fee. Participants must complete their registration one hour before the category start time without exception; this helps organizers maintain smooth race operations. A valid USAC license is required for participation, with "One-Day Licenses" costing $15 or $35 for experienced racers whose licenses have expired. These fees are non-negotiable as set by USA Cycling. Ample parking will be available in the Marbletown Fire Department's paved lot and overflow areas. RVs and campers can park safely, ensuring no interference with emergency operations. No sleeveless jerseys or aero bars; mountain bikes must have bar ends removed. Helmets are mandatory on all property. Racers should note that the Upstate BMX track will be closed for maintenance during the event weekend but is not part of this cyclocross course. The race atmosphere will be electric, with plenty of spectator areas offering great views of the exciting features and fun-filled action. Bring a chair to sit back, relax, enjoy live music, announcements, photos, and refreshments provided by Upstate BMX. Support your fellow competitors in an environment that encourages both competition and sportsmanship. Follow @marbletownmadnesscx on Facebook and Instagram for updates leading up to the event. Don't forget to make a charitable donation at checkout; all proceeds will support Marbletown Volunteer Fire Department's vital work throughout the year. Mark your calendars and join us for what promises to be an unforgettable day of cyclocross racing!
