MARICÁ 21K

On October 18, 2026, the coastal city of Maricá will host its first-ever half marathon, the Maricá 21K. This inaugural CPR-organized race promises to bring together athletes and running enthusiasts for a scenic journey along Itaipuaçu Beach. The event features both 5K and 21K distances, offering participants an unforgettable experience with breathtaking ocean views at every turn.
The race celebrates health, community unity, and personal achievement in one of Rio de Janeiro's most enchanting coastal towns. As runners make their way through the picturesque streets and along the shoreline, they will feel the vibrant energy that defines this unique sporting event. The Maricá 21K is more than just a run; it’s an opportunity to push your limits and become part of Maricá’s rich running heritage.
Participants can look forward to receiving race kits including shirts, numbers, timing chips, and finisher medals upon completion of the race. Early bird discounts are available for those who register before August 10th or October 5th, with full price tickets becoming available from October 13th onwards. Special discounted rates apply to individuals aged over 60 years old.
