On September 19, 2026, the picturesque town of Cubjac-Auvézère-Val d’Ans will host an array of cycling and running events that cater to enthusiasts across various skill levels. The day’s festivities kick off with a leisurely mountain bike ride at 4:30 PM, inviting participants on a scenic non-timed journey through rolling hills covering approximately 20 kilometers.
At 5:30 PM, the energy shifts as the La Ciflorette Trail race begins its competitive chronometer-led run. This challenging course stretches over 19 kilometers with an elevation gain of around 400 meters and is open to participants ranging from ES to MA categories. The route winds through varied terrain, offering runners a mix of steep climbs and smooth descents.
Following closely at 6:00 PM, the La Cirafine Trail race welcomes trail runners for another timed event over a more manageable distance of 10 kilometers with an elevation gain of about 220 meters. This shorter but no less demanding route is designed for those in CA to MA categories and promises breathtaking views as it navigates through lush landscapes.
Rounding out the evening, at 6:15 PM, families and casual walkers are invited to join the La Fraise en Marche pedestrian event. A non-competitive walk of about 10 kilometers with an elevation gain similar to that of the trail race (220 meters), it provides a relaxed way for everyone to enjoy the scenic beauty at their own pace.
Each event is set against the backdrop of Cubjac-Auvézère-Val d’Ans, offering participants not only physical challenges but also opportunities to immerse themselves in the serene natural surroundings and vibrant local culture.
