Meandering Turkey

Set against the picturesque backdrop of Klaus Park between Cape and Jackson, the Meandering Turkey race offers runners an unforgettable challenge on Sunday, November 23rd at 1:30 p.m. Despite its misleading flat course designation, this 5.5-mile run is a true test with hilly terrain and winding single-track paths filled with roots that will push even seasoned athletes to their limits.
Participants who secure one of the limited spots in this event (registration caps out at 100 runners) will receive an exclusive Missouri Running Performance Tech shirt, along with a pair of socks. The top overall male and female finishers will be rewarded with a $100 MoRunCo Gift Certificate to celebrate their achievement.
The race features six age divisions: 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+, each of which will be split into five-year increments if more than eight runners register in the same division. With no race-day registration available, early sign-up is crucial to secure a spot.
After crossing the finish line, participants can enjoy complimentary food and refreshments while mingling with fellow racers and spectators alike. For younger athletes aged 12 and under, there's also a free Kids Fun Run that follows the main event, covering approximately 1.5 miles. Parents are encouraged to join their children for an enjoyable family outing.
