Media 5 Mile Race 2027

Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the historic town of Media, Pennsylvania for the highly anticipated Media 5 Mile Race on June 13th. This USATF-certified race offers runners an exhilarating journey through picturesque residential and bustling business areas, culminating in a thrilling sprint along State Street.
Race Details:
- Location: West State Street & Veterans Square, Media, PA
- Start Time: 7:00 PM
The event kicks off with the main race at dusk, allowing participants to enjoy the unique ambiance of running under lights through historic downtown Media. Spectators line the streets, creating an electrifying atmosphere that propels runners forward.
Kids' Free Fun Runs
For younger racers eager for a taste of competition, there's also a free fun run starting at 6:00 PM in Barrall Park & Field across from Media Elementary School. Pre-sign-up is available online to secure your spot.
Can't make it on race day? No problem! The Virtual 5 Mile Race option lets you complete the course anytime before June 13th and still be part of the festivities. Your virtual run includes a race t-shirt and medal, which can be picked up at the Media Community Center after submitting your results online.

- Limited to 1,800 runners
Secure your place early as this event sells out quickly. Registration is available through the official website with no refunds but transfer options are allowed by contacting the race director at racedirector@media5milerace.com.
Race shirts in both men's and women's cuts will be guaranteed for those who register before June 1st, ensuring you're properly outfitted on race day.
Awards & Prizes:
The top three finishers overall (male and female) along with the first-place masters runner (40+) are recognized. Additionally, there’s an award ceremony at Veterans Square immediately following the race where age group winners also receive their accolades.
To ensure a smooth experience on race day:
- Packet Pickup: June 10th from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM at Media Community Center
- Race Day Pickup: June 12th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Veterans Square
