On November 15, 2026, the Comarca de Valdejalón will host its XX edition of the Media Maratón Comarca de Valdejalon and the 10K race. The half marathon route starts at Épila in Zaragoza province and winds through scenic landscapes before reaching La Almunia de Doña Godina, while the shorter distance begins from Calatorao with a finish line also at La Almunia.
Participants of the half marathon will gather for departure at 9:00 AM sharp in Épila. The race course is designed to showcase the rich cultural heritage and natural beauty of this region, offering runners an opportunity to experience both urban charm and rural tranquility along their journey. Detailed route information can be found on Wikiloc under track ID 186275438.
For those choosing the 10K option, the race will kick off at Calatorao promptly at 9:45 AM. This shorter but equally scenic course allows runners to explore a different part of Valdejalón's landscape before converging with half marathoners in La Almunia de Doña Godina for their shared finish line celebration.
Both events promise an engaging and memorable experience, combining athletic challenge with cultural immersion amidst the picturesque backdrop of northern Spain.
