Starting 7:30 AM on Sunday, November 8 on Zizhan Avenue at Dongpo City Wetland Park, Meishan, Sichuan, this race caps at 25,000 runners split between a marathon (42.195km, 10,000 spots) and half marathon (21.0975km, 15,000 spots). Pre-registration runs July 6 14:00 through August 31 22:00, with lottery results announced September 14, a waitlist window through September 16, and full refunds for unsuccessful waitlist entries.
Named for Song-dynasty poet Su Dongpo, Meishan's most famous native son, the course runs through a city steeped in literary heritage -- poetry embedded in its architecture and regional cuisine at aid stations.
Entry fees: marathon 200rmb, half marathon 180rmb.
