The Melbourne Pride Run, celebrating its 10th anniversary on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2027, promises an unforgettable experience for runners and walkers alike. This year, the event has expanded to accommodate a larger community by offering bib collection sessions at strategic locations leading up to the big day. Bibs can be collected from four pre-event sessions: - On Tuesday evening, February 9, at 6:30 PM in Princess Park Fitness Station. - Wednesday morning, February 10, at The Pillars of Wisdom located at The Tan, starting at 36 minutes past noon. - Thursday afternoon, February 11, at Footscray Wharf from 7:00 PM onwards. - And on Saturday before the event, February 13, at Melbourne Observatory in The Tan at 8:30 AM. Participants are encouraged to leave valuables at home and take advantage of a convenient bag drop service. Water stations will be strategically placed throughout the course: - At The Pillars of Wisdom, - At the top of Anderson Street, - And within Pride Run Village itself, ensuring runners stay hydrated along their journey. Accessibility is also prioritized for all participants, including those using wheelchairs or requiring assistance. Contact organizers to discuss specific needs and ensure a seamless experience on race day. Join us at Melbourne Pride Run 2027—where diversity, inclusion, and community come together in celebration of love!
