This unique 7-hour Time Challenge event offers participants full control over the distance they wish to cover, making it an ideal opportunity for runners at all levels to set personal goals or simply enjoy a leisurely jog. The course loops around a beautiful stretch of the river and is fully marked for easy navigation without requiring any navigational skills. The terrain varies with approximately 60% on well-maintained paths and tarmac, complemented by grassy trails that can become muddy during certain times of the year. While road shoes are suitable throughout the year, trail runners may opt for extra grip when navigating the softer sections. The event is designed to cater to all abilities, welcoming both walkers and runners alike. Members enjoy exclusive benefits such as discounted entry fees and guaranteed race spots. Additionally, members receive a mini-me medal pin at every event they attend. Participants who complete 3 kilometers will earn an official finisher’s medal, while those running half-marathon distances or more can collect distance pins reflecting their achievements, including Half-Marathon, Mega-Half, Marathon, 50km and Ultra pins. The venue boasts a fantastic aid table offering a variety of snacks, drinks, and vegan options to keep you fueled throughout the event. A goody bag filled with treats is provided upon completion. For special milestones or significant achievements during this run, participants can request personalized running numbers complete with their names and dates for that extra touch of recognition. The Last Hop serves as the starting point and finish line, equipped with toilets but no changing facilities or showers on site. Participants are advised to use the downstairs toilet area if they need to change clothes before or after the event.
