Celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day by joining our annual run dedicated to honor and action. Lace up your shoes on this special day, reflecting on Dr. King's powerful message of love and resilience as you hit the streets. This event transcends fitness; it’s a vibrant community celebration and a call for social change. The race offers something for everyone—runners or walkers are welcome, with waves starting at 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, and 8:30 AM. Each participant receives a supportive environment to achieve personal goals in a stress-free setting. Timing is optional; you can track your progress using apps like Strava or RunKeeper and submit times online for display on our website. No timing chips are required—run with purpose without the pressure of official tracking! Swag bags include a running T-shirt (shipped US-only), finisher’s towel, medal, digital training pack, and an invitation to join local run clubs. Online results and certificates will be available post-race. Packet pickup is hassle-free; your swag bag will ship directly to the address you register with. Race bibs are provided on race day. Timing details and course maps will be emailed a week before the event for your convenience. For those joining later, late runners can run upon arrival as coordinators stay three hours after Wave A. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to contact us at info@thebestraces.com. Virtual participants receive unique training tools and digital support. After completing their runs using tracking devices of choice, they can submit results for a medal. Sign up now for multiple races and enjoy discounts on future events. Our sponsors are invited to showcase their businesses through our platform. Volunteers play a crucial role in supporting the community; join us by filling out the volunteer form at www.thebestraces.com/volunteer-form/. Every mile you run after the event contributes to charitable causes, with $1 donated for each additional mile logged. Fundraising is optional but encouraged. Be part of our journey and help make a difference this Martin Luther King Jr. Day!
