Moab Rocks 2027

Moab Rocks invites runners from all walks of life to experience three days filled with breathtaking trails, camaraderie, and adventure. Spanning 76 miles (123km) across rugged terrain that climbs an impressive 7,800 feet (2,400m), this race weaves through iconic sections like Porcupine Rim and the modern classics of Bar M Trails and Mag 7.
Each day features fully marked courses with two well-stocked aid stations to keep you fueled throughout your journey. Professional timing by Zone 4 ensures accurate results while on-course medical support is available for any unexpected needs. To top it off, every participant receives a customized race plate and event swag along with a free T-shirt.
Competitors can choose from various categories tailored to different age groups including non-binary runners, ensuring everyone finds their place in the lineup. Categories are divided into men’s and women's pro/open divisions alongside specific age brackets for both genders up to 70+ years old.
For young athletes aged 14-24 with a valid school ID, there is an exclusive NICA/High School/Collegiate rate of $269.
Registration includes:
- Three days of marked courses
- Two aid stations per day
- Professional timing by Zone 4
- On-course medical support
Participants should note the cancellation policy: refunds are not issued under any circumstances. However, transfers to another participant may be permitted for an administrative fee of $25 if completed no later than midnight on April 24, 2027.
Deferrals can be requested based on specific guidelines:
- Requests made by March 1/27 defer 75% of the race fee
- Requests between March 2/27 and April 1/27 defer 50%
- No deferral options are available after April 1, 2027
Special considerations for pregnancy or active military deployment may allow full deferrals with proper documentation. Each entry can only be deferred once to the following year's event.
