Welcome to the Montana Meltdown Fixed Time Event, an exhilarating endurance challenge set against the stunning backdrop of Gallatin Valley Regional Park in Bozeman, Montana. This unique race offers participants three distinct options: 24 hours, 12 hours, and 4 hours, each designed for runners looking to push their limits on a scenic 1.5-mile loop course.
The event promises an immersive experience with the support of fellow athletes and enthusiastic spectators cheering you on throughout your journey. Whether you're aiming to rack up miles or simply enjoy the camaraderie among participants, there's plenty to look forward to in this premier timed race.
Race times are carefully scheduled to accommodate every runner’s preference:
- The 24-hour event kicks off at 10:00 am on September 27.
- Join us for the 12-hour challenge starting simultaneously with the longer option.
- For those who prefer a shorter yet intense session, the 4-hour race begins promptly at noon.
Registration is open until midnight MST on September 23. Be sure to secure your spot early and pick up your packet on race day from 8:00 am onwards near the start/finish area in Gallatin Valley Regional Park.
Supporting runners throughout their journey, crew members are allowed every lap, with a designated camping space adjacent to the course for added convenience. Parking can be limited, so we encourage carpooling or utilizing nearby hotels; alternative parking is available on Oak Street if needed.
