MTC LEJOG

The MTC LEJOG reverses the iconic JOGLE route, taking runners on an epic journey from Lands End to John O’Groats. This annual challenge covers nearly all road routes and sees continuous improvements each year aimed at enhancing safety and runner enjoyment.
Participants receive a set of six hi-viz technical t-shirts and one hi-viz jacket, all personalized with their name, the race year, and event title. Mount to Coast, the head sponsor, also provides complimentary footwear for every competitor, ensuring runners are well-equipped throughout this grueling adventure.
The route traverses diverse landscapes and weather conditions, from bustling roads in populated areas to tranquil stretches through isolated regions where caution is paramount due to limited traffic and support infrastructure. Competitors must be prepared with appropriate clothing and gear to handle varying climates and terrains.
A strict 4 mph pace minimum ensures a fair and safe competition; runners who fall below this speed will face disqualification without exception. With only twelve spots available, the MTC LEJOG is an exclusive challenge that demands both physical endurance and mental fortitude.
Organizers reserve the right to remove any competitor deemed unfit to continue for their safety or others' well-being.
