The Myponga Loop takes place on Sunday, 31 May 2026 starting at 8:00 AM GMT+9:30 from Hansen Street, Myponga, South Australia. This Great Southern Runs event offers three distances: Long Course (approximately 19 km around Myponga Reservoir), Short Course (7 km on shared use trails), and a free Kids' Dash (1,200 m). The Long Course provides a unique opportunity to run on large sections of trails not normally accessible to the public, including a crossing of the dam wall while closed to traffic. The Short Course follows the Myponga parkrun route in reverse direction.
