About the Event

The myTeam Triumph Westport Triathlon, previously known as the Kiwanis Westport Triathlon, is designed to cater to all levels of athletes and their families. This family-friendly event offers a picturesque setting at Compo Beach for its swim leg, where participants enjoy a point-to-point course in the beautiful waters.
For the bike and run portions, the terrain remains flat and scenic as it winds through the charming streets surrounding Compo Beach. Ideal for first-time triathletes and families looking to compete together, this event provides an accessible yet engaging experience.
Awards will be given out to age group winners and relay teams at a ceremony following the race. Additionally, all racers can look forward to a post-race party complete with breakfast on the beach and massage services provided by Tony Trujillo near the finish line area.
Registration for timing chips is available from 7:00 am to 8:00 am on September 27th at a designated location. The race kicks off promptly at 8:30 am, preceded by an informative talk from the Race Director and a moment of national pride with the singing of the National Anthem.
Participants can expect results to start posting as early as 9:45 am, followed closely by awards ceremonies for top finishers under the Compo Beach Pavilion. The event is not only about competition but also celebrating community spirit and athletic achievement in one of Connecticut's most charming coastal settings.
