Nanjing Laoshan Trail Running Training Race 2026 (2026“密度轻运动眼镜”南京老山越野训练赛)

The 2026 "Density Light Sports Eyewear" Nanjing Laoshan Trail Training Race will take place on Sunday, October 11th, starting at 8:30 AM from the scenic Yunyou Valley Cloud Retreat Forest Lawn in the heart of Nanjing's Laoshan National Scenic Area. This event features two challenging categories—the 24-kilometer Mountain Traverse and the 16-kilometer Wilderness Exploration.
The 24-kilometer route, with a total elevation gain of 1806 meters, winds through rugged terrain that includes steep climbs and descents along scenic trails. Participants will experience breathtaking views as they navigate this demanding course. The race has a cut-off time of 7.5 hours, offering runners plenty of time to take in the beauty around them.
The 16-kilometer route features an elevation gain of 982 meters over its distance of approximately 15 kilometers. This shorter but no less challenging option offers a similar taste of Laoshan's natural splendor with fewer miles on your legs, yet still providing enough climbing to earn participants one ITRA point.
Both categories start at the same time and share the stunning backdrop of Nanjing’s lush greenery and mountain vistas, making this event an ideal choice for trail runners seeking both a competitive challenge and scenic beauty. Early registration is encouraged as spots are limited.
