Nashville Running Companys Shelby 6 Miler

Nashville Running Company presents an exhilarating trail race set against the backdrop of Shelby Park, located right in East Nashville. This flat and fast course is ideal for both beginners looking to dip their toes into trail running and seasoned runners aiming to break personal records.
The event kicks off at the historic Cornelia Fort Airpark, a fitting starting point that adds an extra layer of charm to your race day experience. From there, participants will navigate through Shelby Park's well-maintained primitive trails, offering a scenic journey amidst nature. The flat terrain ensures runners can focus on their pace and enjoy the surroundings without any elevation challenges.
To ensure you receive your commemorative shirt in time for the event, be sure to register by October 11th. Early packet pickup will take place at Nashville Running Company (820 Woodland St) from 11am-1pm on Saturday, October 24th. Race day registration and packet pickup are available Sunday, October 25th from 6:45-7:30am right at the race start.
The top three male and female finishers will receive impressive prizes provided by HOKA—one pair of shoes for first place, a swag bag for second place, and premium swag items for third. Adding an exciting twist to the event is the "Fastest in Costume" category: runners who wear Halloween costumes can compete alongside regular race categories and win additional prizes such as a backpack filled with HOKA goodies.
Participants have the option during registration to donate to two local non-profits supported by Nashville Running Company—Friends of Shelby, which focuses on preserving and enhancing Shelby Park for community enjoyment, and Move! Music City, an initiative aimed at promoting healthier lifestyles among students in Metro Nashville Public Schools. Both organizations are 501(c)(3) entities, making your donation tax-deductible.
