NAV4 Daffodil Run and Walk

Since its inception in 2016 as a response to the devastating Cumbria floods that affected local businesses, the annual Pooley Run has become an iconic community event. Originally designed to support the local pubs and shops by drawing attention back to the area, it quickly evolved into much more than just a fundraising initiative.
The route remains unchanged from its inaugural year, weaving through picturesque landscapes that showcase both the beauty of rural England and the resilience of its communities. Participants can expect an engaging course filled with charming countryside scenery, winding paths, and gentle hills. Whether you're in it for the run or prefer to take your time walking, there's a pace here for everyone.
The event continues to be celebrated as a family-friendly outing where runners and walkers alike are welcomed by a warm community atmosphere. There’s no pressure to adhere to strict cut-off times—just enjoy the day at your own speed while soaking in the camaraderie among participants of all ages.
After crossing the finish line, head over to the Village Hall for complimentary tea, coffee, cold drinks, and tray bakes, where you can relax with fellow runners or family members.
