About the Event

This one mile road race, occurring during Newburyport's Historic Yankee Homecoming Festival, features multiple heats including a children's heat with medals for all the little finishers! Cash prizes for overall and age group winners! There will be snacks and beverages at the finish line and beer tickets for a free beer and post race viewing party at the Winner's Circle Sports Bar post race! This year will feature professional race photographers, substantial cash prizes, race announcer Michael Bernier (Enjoy Your Life), T shirts, and finisher ribbons for all.

Register by June 1, 2026 for the best price. Register by July 6, 2026 to guarantee a T shirt. Use code "FAMILY" for a 10% discount when you register 3 or members of your family!

Early number pickup and last minute registration will be available on Saturday August 2th, details will be announced.

Race day registration and number pick up will start at 7:30 a.m. and close promptly at 8:30 a.m. at Atkinson Common (start line) in Newburyport.
