About the Event

Newgate Mission's 2025 Gobble Wobble Fun Run!

The 1 Mile Fun Run, 5k and 10k is the biggest fundraiser of the year. The race helps Newgate Mission provide hot meals, groceries, clothing, spiritual and social support throughout the year. We hope you will participate as a sponsor and/or in the race!

Registration is FREE and begins at 8:00am.
RACE STARTS AT 9:00 AM.
Parking at Austin Bank on Loop 281

There is no registration fee, but donations are gladly accepted. Financial gifts can be made through this registration, our website, or the day of the race. We accept cash or checks.

Gobble Wobble T-shirt!

T-shirts are available for $25 each (for most sizes) and with select sponsorship levels.

If you order a T-Shirt through this registration site, it will be available November 11 - 14, 2025 at the Mission (207 S. Mobberly) Tuesday through Friday from 8:00am-2:00pm. They will also be available at the event will supplies last!

About Longview

Longview is a city in the Piney Woods region of Texas. At one time a major headquarters of the vast East Texas Oil Field, petroleum remains a large part of the city's economy. Founded in 1871, the city earned its name when surveyors for the Southern Pacific Railroad noted what a "long view" they could see from a hill near the center of the new town. Longview is now home to more than 75,000 residents and has grown to be an important center of commerce and industry for the Piney Woods region of Texas.
