Participants will traverse Upper Newport Bay, taking in stunning views of wetlands, restored habitats, and bluffs along the way. The course winds past iconic landmarks such as Big Canyon Nature Park Restoration Project and Back Bay Lookout Vista Point, each offering unique perspectives on the bay’s diverse ecosystem. In addition to the half marathon, runners can choose from a 5K race or walk, a mile run, or combine events for added challenge. Youth participants have their own set of options including a Kids Beach Dash and Toddler Trot, ensuring that everyone in the family has an engaging experience tailored just for them.
