About the Event

Dear Niantic Jingle 5K Friends-

Join us as we celebrate the 13th Niantic Jingle 5K at McCooks Park in Niantic on Saturday, December 13th. Registration begins at 8:30. The Walk/Run starts at 10am. We're looking forward to seeing everyone at one of the top road races in Connecticut once again! Come join us at the celebration of the holiday season!

Run, walk, push a stroller! Alone or together with a team, help make a difference and raise funds for the Brian Dagle Foundation and Brian's Healing Hearts Center for Hope and Healing we are "anchored in hope and empowered to support, is dedicated to the healing of grieving adults as well as community education on suicide prevention and awareness."

This event wouldn’t be possible without the support of participants and donors like you. Last year we experienced record numbers with over 1400 runners and walkers of all fitness levels who joined us for this festive community event which is rated one of the Top 11 Connecticut Road Races (bestthingsct.com). The race route remains the same! Run or walk this easy flat course along the Niantic shoreline.

We look forward to seeing everyone on 12/13/25. Here is some important race inforamtion to help you get your Jingle on!!

· Online registration remains open right up until 15 minutes before the race

· Day of registration is available starting at 8:30am

· Please consider Early Packet Pick Up- Friday, December 12th from 9:00pm-5:00pm in the flyer of the East Lyme Community Center, 41 Society Rd. East Lyme

Day of Parking

Please consider carpooling due to the expected crowd this year!

· St. Agnes-22 Haigh Ave, Niantic

· St. John’s Green, 400 Main St, Niantic

· Niantic Baptist Church, Main St, Niantic

· VFW 39 Columbus Ave, Niantic.

· Hole in the Wall Beach Niantic

· Main Street Niantic

****Due to high registration numbers please consider carpooling and early pick up

Race Day agenda

· Registration for everyone begins at 8:30am

· Costume Contest begins at 9am. Winners chosen by 9:30am.

· 9:45am- Starting line formation begins.

· 9:55am National Anthem

· 10am- The Race takes off!

· 11am- Awards given to top finishers

· Food Truck, DJ, and Santa Clause will be joining us.

· Everyone who crosses the finish line receives medal

About Niantic

Niantic is a census-designated place (CDP) and village in the town of East Lyme, Connecticut. The population was 3,114 at the 2010 census. It is located on Long Island Sound; the Millstone Nuclear Power Plant in Waterford is visible on the bay's eastern horizon, and Rocky Neck State Park is also located in the area.
