About the Event

The NNCX: Lee Hall Cyclocross Race offers a thrilling experience for power riders, situated at the northern edge of Newport News, Virginia. Nestled between Richmond and Virginia Beach, this course provides a mix of rolling terrain and steeply technical wooded sections, making it both challenging and rewarding.
Race conditions will adhere to USAC rules, necessitating all participants to have a valid USAC license. New riders can purchase beginner one-day licenses on-site; Cat 4 or higher athletes must secure their experienced one-day license through USA Cycling prior to the event. The Race Director reserves the right to adjust course segments for safety reasons.
Registration is open online until October 31st at 8:00 PM, with day-of registration available up to half an hour before your race starts. Day-of participants will face a $40 fee for their first race and an additional $10 per subsequent race entry. All races are part of the Virginia Cyclocross (VACX) points series.
Series winners must pre-register and contact Graham Costa at [email protected] or by phone at (757) 660-2117 to claim their special $6.00 entry rate. Event day registration opens promptly at 8:30 AM, ensuring you have ample time to prepare.
The course is located at Lee Hall Mansion on Yorktown Road in Newport News, Virginia. Spectators and participants can park freely in the nearby grass field or opt for a more secure option at the Lee Hall Mansion parking lot adjacent to the course entrance. Clear signage will guide all attendees to their designated spaces.
