North Downs Way 50®

The NDW50, now in its 16th year, is an epic point-to-point race along the North Downs Way National Trail. Spanning 80 kilometers from Farnham in Surrey to Knockholt Pound near Greater London, this challenging course features a total climb of 5,600 feet, making it the second event in the prestigious 50 Mile Grand Slam series.
The journey begins at the western edge of the North Downs in Farnham and takes runners through picturesque landscapes. The route passes by Puttenham and Guildford before reaching Ranmore Common. Here, participants face their first major challenge: climbing Box Hill, known for its steep ascent. After conquering this daunting section, the trail descends to Colley Hill and continues on to Merstham.
The latter part of the race sees runners passing through Oxted as they push towards the finish line at Knockholt Pound. Along the way, competitors will experience a mix of rolling hills and tranquil countryside, offering stunning views throughout their journey.
Organized under full UK Athletics Permit granted by the TRA, this event provides an option to purchase XCover for participants who may need financial protection in case they are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances.
