Northern Strike 5K

Experience the fifth edition of the Northern Strike 5K Run/Walk/Ruck, set to take place on August 2nd, 2026, at Camp Grayling Parade Field in Grayling, Michigan. This scenic race offers a unique blend of fitness and camaraderie for runners, walkers, and ruck enthusiasts alike.
The event kicks off with an early morning start at 9am, providing participants the opportunity to enjoy a picturesque setting under clear skies or amidst the vibrant hues of dawn. The course is designed to challenge athletes while showcasing the beauty of Camp Grayling’s surroundings, featuring terrain that varies in elevation, making it suitable for all levels.
Participants can look forward to custom awards presented to the top male and female overall finishers. Additionally, age group awards will be given out to the first three competitors in each category: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and those aged 70 and older. Special awards will also be available for the Ruck Female and Ruck Male categories.
Registration fees are set at $40 until July 1st, with a discounted rate of $30 for students, veterans, soldiers, and first responders who register by this date. After July 1st, the registration fee increases to $50 through race day. Pre-registration is highly recommended as it guarantees your spot in the event.
The Northern Strike 5K Run/Walk/Ruck is supported by a variety of local sponsors including Q100, Kodiak Group, and Paddle Hard Brewing, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all participants.
