The event takes place at a venue that offers endless gravel roads and mesmerizing mountain vistas, all while being just minutes away from the bustling town center. Participants can enjoy the comfort of nearby hotels, restaurants, wineries, shopping centers, and other local attractions without compromising on their desire to escape into nature. For those who wish to fully embrace the weekend’s spirit, camping will be available right at Telemark Nordic Club, ensuring riders wake up close to where the action starts.
Three distinct routes cater to all levels of experience:
- Stone (40 km): Ideal for newcomers and casual enthusiasts alike, this route provides a delightful introduction to gravel riding. With manageable climbs totaling 650 meters and two fully stocked refuel stations, Stone offers scenic roads that showcase the beauty of the Okanagan region.
- Rock (70 km): For those seeking a more challenging adventure, Rock presents an exhilarating test with approximately 1,300 meters of climbing. This route features sustained climbs through mountainous terrain and rewards riders with panoramic views and smooth gravel stretches.
- Boulder (120 km): The ultimate challenge for seasoned cyclists, Boulder ventures deep into the mountains over a distance of 120 kilometers with around 2,100 meters of elevation gain. Passing pristine alpine lakes and remote backcountry landscapes, this route offers breathtaking scenery and an unmatched sense of accomplishment.
In addition to these routes, participants can contribute to a worthy cause by supporting the Desmoid Tumour Foundation of Canada through our fundraising initiative. Donations come with exclusive rewards such as custom shirts, jerseys, socks, and water bottles based on contribution levels. All donations over $20 are eligible for tax receipts.
