One More Hour

The One More Hour race returns to the picturesque Prince Edward County on July 24th, 2026. This second event in our Friday Night Happy Hour series is set out in beautiful Prince Edward County at Sugarbush Vineyards, a private trail network that offers a welcoming and informal atmosphere for both hardcore runners and beginners alike. The course will wind through the vineyard's flat trails, providing a leisurely run perfect for unwinding on a warm summer evening.
The surroundings of this race are idyllic—rolling hills, lush greenery, and the gentle scent of ripe grapes in the air. On race day, expect an atmosphere filled with community spirit as runners gather to enjoy not just the trail but also the opportunity to sample some of Sugarbush Vineyards' wonderful wines post-run. The evening light will cast a golden glow over the vineyard paths, creating a serene and relaxed ambiance that makes this event more than just a run.
This race has been running for two years now, each edition building on the previous one's success. Last year saw 200 participants who supported our cause by raising funds for local community initiatives. The One More Hour is not only a celebration of fitness but also a testament to the power of coming together and supporting the community.

The course itself covers approximately 6km of flat trail, making it accessible and enjoyable for runners at all levels. Starting from Sugarbush Vineyards, participants will follow a carefully laid path that meanders through the vineyard's terrains before returning to the finish line near the vineyard’s entrance. There are no aid stations along the course, but rest assured, there is a washroom on site and water available at both start/finish lines for hydration needs.
The weather forecast suggests an average temperature of 22.5°C with humidity levels around 76%, making it comfortable conditions to run in. Expect some light wind blowing between 10km/h to 13km/h, which could slightly affect the pace but shouldn't impede your progress significantly. Keep an eye on the sky for any chance of rain; while unlikely, it’s always a good idea to carry a light jacket or waterproof gear just in case.

Registration for this event is open now via https://raceroster.com/events/2026/110541/one-more-hour. The registration fee is $29.47, with a day-of option available at the start line for an additional $30.
Bibs can be picked up one hour before race time on-site. For those who might not have registered in advance, we will still have day-of registration available to ensure no runner misses out. Participants are encouraged to bring their own reusable water bottles as this is a cupless event. Bibs and other necessary items for the run should be brought along.
The start location is at Sugarbush Vineyards, with age requirements of 18 years or older due to liability concerns related to alcohol presence on site post-race. For first-timers, familiarize yourself with the route beforehand if possible, as there are no aid stations and only limited water available near the beginning.
