Participants can choose from the classic 5K or 10K, or challenge themselves in the half marathon; all distances offer participants a taste of Geneva's historical charm.
This event has been running for years, raising funds annually for Step By Step Running Club and becoming an integral part of the local community. With over 2000 runners participating each year, it is more than just a race—it’s a celebration of fitness and support for a worthy cause.
The course venue offers a mix of urban landscapes and residential streets, starting at Kane County Courthouse on Third Street before weaving through various neighborhoods en route to the finish line. The 5K runs along Main Street, while the half marathon takes runners down both business and quiet avenues, providing scenic views and unique experiences for each distance.
On race morning, participants will find gear check opening at 6:15 AM in front of the Kane County Courthouse on Third Street. For those opting for a virtual run, packet pickup is available from November 2nd to 8th at 25N Coworking Geneva located at 25 N. River Lane.
