The Ouachita Switchbacks 50K/25K is Oklahoma's toughest and most beautiful ultra. The race is January 16th, beginning at 8 am. Early start is available. The course is extremely technical with considerable elevation change. Race start and finish is in a remote location with no facilities. For more details on course description, directions to the start and other questions, please visit the ouachitaswitchbacks.com or e-mail the race director. Hoodies to all participants. Looks like there should be plenty of hoodies. Commemorative mugs for all finishers. Trucker hats and mugs for the 50k finishers. INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY - THE RACE WILL BE POSTPONED FOR THE FOLLOWING SATURDAY ONLY IF ROAD CONDITIONS MAKE IT DANGEROUS TO TRAVEL TO THE RACE SITE. NO REFUNDS. Packet Pick up is at the Pashubee Trailhead (Start/Finish) after 1 pm on Friday until campers go to sleep around 9 or 10 pm. You may also pick up your packet between 6:30 am and 7:30 am race morning also at the Pashubee Trailhead.
