Pace for Peace 5K/10K Run/Walk

Join the vibrant community of Livermore Valley on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026 for Tri-Valley Haven's Pace for Peace. This annual celebration offers runners and walkers alike an opportunity to enjoy scenic routes while supporting a worthy cause. The event features both 5K and 10K races as well as a fun Kids 500-M Dash.
The race begins at Robertson Park, where participants will embark on a journey along the picturesque Arroyo bike trail before venturing out into the serene vineyards of Livermore Valley. This course is designed to provide runners with an invigorating experience amidst stunning natural beauty and charming landscapes.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome in this family-friendly event; they must remain leashed throughout, but there will be a designated area where your furry friends can enjoy water and treats during the race day festivities.
Registration fees vary based on age group and early bird discounts. Early registration for youth participants under 18 costs $35 for both 5K walk/run and 10K run categories until September 1st, increasing to $40 thereafter for the 5K category and $45 for the 10K category. Adults aged 19 and over can register at an early bird rate of $45 for the 5K race or $50 for the 10K run until September 1st, with prices rising to $50 and $55 respectively after that date.
For those participating in groups, a special discount is available: a group registration fee of five participants (including both races) costs $175 if registered early or $200 afterwards. This includes a 10% discount for the Kids Dash when registering as part of a larger group using Promo Code TVH10.
Each participant will receive a custom performance T-shirt and finisher medal, along with chip timing services to track your progress accurately. Refreshments are provided at various points throughout the event to keep everyone energized during their run or walk.
The race day schedule is as follows: check-in opens at 7 am for early packet pick-up; registration remains open until start times. The Kids Dash begins promptly at 8 am, followed by the launch of the 10K runners and then the 5K participants shortly after. All races conclude between 9:15-9:30 am with an award ceremony celebrating all who have participated.
