Celebrating its 25th year on October 18th, the New England Road Race is a beloved fall tradition that combines competitive spirit with community fun. The centerpiece of this event is a flat and fast 3-mile race starting at 11:30 AM, which winds through picturesque streets before finishing in an energetic Blocktoberfest & Beer Garden.
For younger participants or those looking for shorter distances, the event offers a popular 1K run at 10:15 AM. This race caters specifically to kids aged 14 and under as well as athletes with disabilities of all ages, ensuring that everyone can find their place in this inclusive celebration. Additionally, youth field races take place earlier on Sunday morning starting at 9:00 AM.
Race weekend activities include registration and packet pickup sessions for convenience. On Saturday from 10am to 2pm, participants can visit Paddy's Public House, located at 95 Elm Street in West Newton, MA, to complete their sign-ups or pick up race packets. For those who prefer Sunday morning, the final opportunity is available between 9:30 AM and 10:50 AM.
