About the Event

Embark on an exhilarating journey through the sprawling landscapes of Western Sydney Parklands at the Lizard Log Amphitheatre for the 2027 Parklands Running Festival. Whether you're tackling the half marathon, conquering the 10 km distance, enjoying a scenic 5 km run, or participating in the family-friendly 2 km stroll, this event promises an immersive experience that blends natural beauty with competitive spirit.
Nestled within the park's verdant expanse, runners will weave through diverse terrain featuring undulating hills and serene trails. The challenging yet rewarding course is designed to test even the most seasoned athletes while providing a sense of accomplishment for newcomers seeking their first finish line moment. Each step taken offers breathtaking views of native flora and fauna, making this run not just about speed but also about connecting with nature.
Upon crossing the finish line, participants will be greeted by an array of rewards including a distinctive 2027 Parklands-themed medal, post-race snacks to refuel your energy, and sponsor giveaways. Additionally, all runners will receive a commemorative certificate celebrating their achievement in this picturesque setting.
The Parklands Running Festival is more than just a race; it's an opportunity to explore the beauty of Western Sydney while pushing personal limits on a course that challenges both body and soul.
