Kinross Road Runners cordially invites runners to the Path of Condie Half Marathon, scheduled for Sunday, October 24, 2026. This challenging event starts promptly at 10:30 AM from a location near Orwell Church Hall in Milnathort.
The race is renowned for its dynamic terrain and varied scenery, making it an ideal choice for seasoned runners seeking a rigorous challenge. The route features both steep ascents and descents, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. Given its demanding nature, this half marathon is not recommended for first-timers or casual participants looking for a leisurely run.
To ensure safety and fair competition, all runners must adhere to UK Athletics rules, and the event has been granted Scottish Athletics permit status. Detailed route maps are available online at well in advance of race day.
Entry into this popular event requires a valid Entry Central account due to its sell-out nature. Transfers between participants can be made until the closing date on October 9th, but no deferrals or refunds will be provided after that point.
Race numbers and bibs will be distributed from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at Orwell Church Hall in Milnathort, which is a short walk away from the start line. Participants are advised to bring identification for verification purposes during registration.
Health and safety guidelines emphasize adherence to UKA Rule 240 S5, prohibiting headphones or similar devices unless medically necessary; bone-conduction headphones are an exception. Marshals will be present throughout the course to ensure compliance with rules and provide support as needed. Runners who require medical assistance on route should contact a marshal immediately.
The race organizers aim for all participants to complete within three hours, but those unable to do so may continue at their own risk or opt for sweeper transport back to the finish line. Emergency contacts must be provided on the reverse side of each bib number.
Prizes will be awarded in various age categories, with results posted online and shared through social media channels as soon as they are available.
Facilities include toilet facilities but no changing rooms at registration; therefore, runners should arrive prepared for race day conditions. Parking is limited near the start line, so participants are encouraged to park responsibly elsewhere based on information provided in pre-race emails.
