Paulding Young Life Jingle Jog 5K

Lace up your sneakers, grab your jingle bells, and join us for the inaugural "Paulding Young Life Jingle Jog 5K!" This festive community run will start and finish at the Paulding Chamber of Commerce (455 Jimmy Campbell Parkway, Dallas, GA 30132), taking participants out and back on the scenic Silver Comet Trail. Whether you’re an experienced runner, a casual jogger, or just looking for a joyful way to kick off the Christmas season, this event is for you.  

🏃 The Course:
Our 5K begins at the Chamber Trailhead and heads west on the Silver Comet Trail. This flat and fast, tree-lined path is perfect for a fun and friendly out-and-back run or walk, with plenty of space for strollers, families, and festive costumes. Holiday attire is highly encouraged—Santa hats, Christmas socks, elf ears, and jingle bells are welcome on the trail!

For our younger runners (or anyone who prefers a shorter distance), we’ll also offer a 1K Jingle Run—a fun, family-friendly option that lets everyone join in the celebration.

✨ Why We Run:
This event isn’t just about fitness and festive fun—it’s about purpose. Proceeds from the Jingle Jog go directly to Paulding Young Life, a ministry dedicated to walking alongside high school students right here in our community. Young Life leaders build authentic friendships with students, creating spaces where teens feel valued, known, and loved. Through weekly gatherings, small groups, mentoring, and special events like camp, Young Life introduces students to Jesus Christ and helps them grow in their faith. By joining us at the Jingle Jog, you’re helping open doors for even more students to experience God’s love in powerful and life-changing ways.

☕ Pre-Registration Event:
Mark your calendars for Friday, December 5th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM! Come pre-register at Good Stuff Coffee Co. in downtown Dallas, GA. While you’re there, enjoy a warm drink and explore local shopping—Good Stuff Coffee Co. (109 W Spring St, Dallas, GA 30132) and other downtown businesses will be open for a festive “sip and shop” experience. It’s the perfect way to support local, get into the holiday spirit, and gear up for race day

📅 Race Day Schedule of Events:  Saturday, December 6th:

·       7:00 AM – On-site registration & packet pickup opens at the Paulding Chamber of Commerce

·       8:30 AM – 5K begins on the Silver Comet Trail

·       8:40 AM – 1K  Jingle Run for little runners and anyone who prefers a shorter option

🏆 Awards & Fun:
Prizes will be awarded to top finishers, and we’ll also have a special award for the Best Festive Costume—so break out your Santa suits, reindeer antlers, ugly sweaters, or anything that jingles and sparkles!
