Peacock Gap Trail Run

Nestled along the scenic shores of San Pablo Bay, China Camp State Park offers runners an unforgettable trail experience at the Peacock Gap Trail Run. This beloved race celebrates the park's rich history and stunning natural beauty with three challenging distances: a 10K, Half Marathon, and a grueling 30K.
The course weaves through dense forests and over rolling hills, offering breathtaking views of Mount Tamalpais and San Francisco Bay throughout your run. Expect to encounter twisting single-track trails that climb steeply before descending into open meadows overlooking the water. The terrain is varied, with sections where runners can push their limits or take a more leisurely pace while enjoying the serene surroundings.
Registration opens on December 5, 2026, starting at 7:30 AM for early check-in and bib pickup until 9:00 AM. Start times are staggered to minimize congestion; the Half Marathon and 30K begin promptly at 8:30 AM, followed by the 10K start at 9:00 AM.
Aid stations along the route provide a wide array of essential supplies for endurance athletes, including energy gels from Gu, trail mix, pretzels, Oreos, and Skratch Labs hydration mixes. Volunteers ensure that runners have access to everything they need throughout their journey.
Parking is available at Miwok Meadows on N. San Pedro Road; participants are encouraged to carpool for a more sustainable experience.
