Peebles Duathlon

Embark on an exhilarating journey through Peebles, Scotland, for the Live Borders Triathlon Series Duathlon in 2026. This challenging race takes place at Peebles Swimming Pool and promises to test your endurance with its unique blend of running and cycling segments.
The event kicks off with a scenic 5k run along the picturesque River Tweed. Participants start from the pool, heading downriver towards Priorsford Bridge. After crossing over, runners follow the old railway line back through Hay Lodge Park before reaching Fotheringham Bridge. The route then circles around to finish at the swimming pool.
Following transition on the grassy area next to the river, cyclists face a 20k ride that begins with a climb up Tweed Bridge and continues along rural roads towards Howford Farm past Cardrona Village. This segment features several steep climbs followed by rewarding descents back to Peebles via the same route.
The race concludes with another 5k run mirroring the initial leg, allowing athletes to revisit their starting point for an exciting finish line celebration.
