Peebles Junior Triathlon

Join the Live Borders Junior Triathlon Series 2026, scheduled for September 19th at Peebles Swimming Pool. This exciting junior triathlon offers young athletes an engaging challenge across three disciplines: swimming, cycling, and running.
The event kicks off with a pool swim in Peebles Swimming Pool, where participants will be divided into waves based on their estimated swim times to ensure smooth transitions. Following the swim, racers transition quickly over to the car park adjacent to the pool for a seamless move onto their bikes.
Competitors then head out on an exhilarating bike ride through the picturesque off-road trails surrounding Peebles Park. The terrain is varied and challenging, providing young athletes with an opportunity to showcase their cycling skills amidst stunning natural surroundings.
After completing the biking portion of the race, participants will transition back into running gear for a final leg that follows the same scenic route around Peebles Park. This run segment offers runners breathtaking views as they navigate through the park's trails and paths.
