About the Event

On September 12, 2026, the picturesque municipality of Toreno in León, Spain will host an exciting race series. The day kicks off with the Long Race at 9:00 AM, followed by a brisk start for the walkers and Speed runners at 9:30 AM and 10:00 AM respectively.
The event begins near the picnic areas of Polideportivo in Matarrosa del Sil, offering participants a scenic backdrop as they embark on their journey. The course winds through charming villages such as Santa Leocadia, San Pedro Mallo, Pardamaza, Librán, and back to Matarrosa del Sil.
For the walkers and Speed runners, the route spans approximately 10 kilometers with an elevation gain of around 450 meters, weaving through lush landscapes that offer stunning views. The Long Race presents a more challenging course at about 25 kilometers, featuring a significant climb of roughly 1300 meters. Both routes showcase the beautiful countryside and quaint villages of Toreno.
This event promises to be an invigorating experience for runners and walkers alike, offering breathtaking scenery and a memorable day out in the Spanish countryside.
