Peterhead 10k

On Sunday, November 1st, 2026, the bustling town of Peterhead will host its annual 10k road race, organized by the dedicated members of Peterhead Athletics Club under UK Athletics rules. The certified course, accurately measured and sanctioned by Scottish Athletics (SA permit), promises a challenging yet scenic run through the heart of Peterhead.
Registration for this competitive event opens at Catto Park Pavilion from 9:30 to 10:45 AM on race day. With a strict limit of 250 runners, participants are advised not to wait until the last minute as entry is strictly by pre-registration only. The race briefing starts promptly before the 11:00 AM start time at Catto Running Track.
The route takes runners through various parts of Peterhead on designated pavements and roads that remain open to traffic throughout the event, emphasizing the importance of staying alert for any passing vehicles. Safety is a top priority, with clear instructions from race officials ensuring everyone's well-being during the run. As per Scottish Athletics regulations, headphones are prohibited except for bone conduction models.
