Peterhead Athletics Club 3K / Junior Mile Series #5

Peterhead Athletics Club is excited to present the annual Peterhead 3K & Junior Mile Series for 2026, taking place at the scenic Lido in Peterhead. This series offers runners of all ages and abilities a chance to experience six races over six Saturdays from April through September.
The event schedule includes dates on April 25th, May 30th, June 20th, July 25th, August 29th, and September 26th. Each Saturday features two distinct race categories: the Junior Mile for young athletes under age 16 starting at 10 AM and the adult-friendly 3K event beginning promptly at 11 AM.
Participants in both races will receive a unique number that they keep throughout all six events to track their progress across the series. Race numbers must be collected on race day from the small car parking area near Peterhead Marina Bay, located close to the caravan site office building.
Entry fees are as follows: £2 per 3K race plus an administrative fee of 50p (registration required for each race), and £1 per Junior Mile race with a similar 50p administration charge. Pre-registration is mandatory; no entries will be accepted on-site at the event itself.
The series culminates in awards given to top performers across various categories based on accumulated times from three of their best races throughout the season. These prizes celebrate both individual and team achievements, making it a rewarding experience for all who participate.
