Dive into the festive spirit with our Winter Brew Run, presented by Farm Yard Brew Co., an exhilarating race set against the backdrop of rolling countryside and historic hills. The starting line is right outside the brewery’s front door on Gulf Lane, offering runners a scenic route that winds through open fields and past the picturesque Trough of Bowland.
Midway through the course, participants will find a refreshment station stocked with Farm Yard Brew Co.’s finest brews, complemented by water for those who prefer to stay hydrated without alcohol. Returning to the brewery’s welcoming grounds, runners can claim their well-deserved reward: not just any prize, but a pint of beer and a mince pie.
In addition to the race itself, entrants receive a Santa hat as part of their entry fee, encouraging everyone to embrace the holiday cheer with festive attire. The tap room will be open from 11 am for runners looking to socialize or simply enjoy some pre-race beverages before hitting the course.
After crossing the finish line, participants can indulge in street food available on-site and enter a draw for a chance to win six cans of Farm Yard Brew Co.’s beers. The top three male and female runners will also receive complimentary beer upon completion of their run.
While there are no medals awarded at this event, every runner receives a voucher entitling them to either a free pint or soft drink as part of the brewery’s appreciation for your participation. The race is held under official Road Running license guidelines with medical support on hand throughout the day.
This Winter Brew Run marks the third and final installment in our series of three beer runs scheduled for 2026, following spring and summer editions at Farm Yard Brew Co. A discounted entry rate is available to those who sign up for all three races simultaneously, making it a perfect opportunity to experience each event without breaking the bank.
