Immerse yourself in the picturesque Wyre Estuary Country Park for an exclusive wine-infused trail run scheduled for 2026. This unique 4-mile course winds along the serene waters of the Wyre estuary, offering runners a scenic and flat path that caters to all skill levels.
The event begins and concludes beside the river’s edge, providing stunning views throughout your journey. At the halfway point, you’ll encounter an aid station where water is complemented by a refreshing splash of red or white wine, designed to invigorate tired legs as you make your way back towards the finish line.
Upon crossing the finish, participants will be rewarded with their own medal and a 187ml bottle of either red or white wine—perfect for savoring on-site or taking home. A selection of cheese and crackers is also available to enjoy alongside your complimentary beverage at the event’s post-race gathering area.
Additional amenities include free parking, accessible toilets, medical coverage, and friendly marshals ensuring a smooth experience from start to finish. This trail run adheres strictly to UK Athletics rules under a trail running license, guaranteeing an official yet enjoyable race environment for those aged 18 and over.
