PHOENIX - Manchester - Hoofs, Horns and Paws Charity Run
About the Event
Hoofs, Horns and Paws Charity Run invites you to lace up your shoes for an unforgettable day of running along the picturesque River Mersey at Chorlton Water Park. This year’s special guest is Rhino Boy Chris, a charismatic runner who will be cheering on participants throughout the event. The course offers runners flexibility with distances ranging from 5km to ultra-marathon lengths over multiple laps on a stunning 3.28-mile loop. Participants can choose their own adventure and run as much or as little as they desire within the seven-hour time limit, ensuring that everyone has an experience tailored just for them. The event is dedicated to raising funds for Save The Rhino alongside other local charities, with all proceeds equally distributed among these causes. As you make your way along the riverside towpath, you’ll enjoy a flat and fast course with minimal elevation changes, making it ideal for runners of all abilities—whether you’re setting out on foot or using a wheelchair. A well-stocked vegetarian aid station will be available throughout the day, offering bananas, dates, jelly sweets, crisps, cakes, squash, full sugar cola, and more. The venue also provides toilet facilities and changing rooms at Race HQ for your convenience. Parking is limited to 75 cars on-site at Hardy Farm with additional spaces across the river at Sale Water Park. Join us on this scenic journey through Chorlton Water Park as we come together to support a worthy cause, all while enjoying the camaraderie of fellow runners and the serene beauty of nature. All participants will receive a bespoke finishers' medal upon completion, celebrating your achievement no matter how far you run. We look forward to seeing you there!

About Manchester
Learn more about the host city, Manchester.
Manchester is a vibrant, post-industrial gem at the heart of North West England. The city that used to be nicknamed 'Cottonopolis' has hung up its clogs and, thanks to successive regeneration projects, is now a major centre for culture and commerce; seen by many as the capital of the north of England, and sometimes regarded as England's second city.
