About the Event

Phoenix Running invites you to unlock your running potential along the picturesque Thames River on March 29, 2027. This unique timed event offers flexibility for runners of all abilities, from beginners to seasoned marathoners and ultra-distance enthusiasts. Participants can choose between a 5km or 10k distance, with options to complete multiple laps around a stunning 5.3km out-and-back course.
The route follows the scenic riverside towpath along the Thames, providing breathtaking views of this historic waterway while offering an entirely flat and fast terrain without any elevation changes. This makes it ideal for runners looking to set personal bests or simply enjoy the beauty of London's natural scenery at a comfortable pace.
Whether you decide to complete just one lap or push yourself with multiple laps, every finisher will receive a bespoke Phoenix Lantern medal as a symbol of your achievement and dedication. The event is designed so that you can gauge how far you want to run on race day based on your comfort level and stamina, making it an adaptable challenge for all runners.
Given the popularity of this event, places are strictly limited, so early registration is highly recommended to secure your spot in what promises to be a memorable running experience.
